I don't usually comment on package design, as most of the time what I find on the shelves are quite ordinary - but this is something that definitely caught my eye.

Orbit has a new gum called "Mist" - in three flavors (at least, that's all I saw). I picked two up, as I'm a fan of their other flavors. First of all, their outside packaging is gorgeous. Rich metallic blue, giving the impression of coolness, of water - with a burst of color to symbolize the flavor inside... logo and color burst are embossed - VERY nice touch.

Once I opened the package I was delighted to find the inside designed in the swirls and color of the flavor - as well as each gum wrap. An absolute lovely addition to the experience. Very retro. By the way, I love the little "Do your part" icon in the bottom right corner - it's nice to remind people to please dispose of your gum - it's TRASH after all.
